The great Indian political show

I was at the state legislative assembly yesterday and found that there is an urgent need to change the entire system of parliamentary governance.

I have a firm belief that a corporate discipline needs to be introduced in the parliamentary government system. In the following lines I will explain how corporate life can bring a big change.

When I was in the state legislative assembly, I had some path breaking findings. I found out that our so called ‘honorable members of legislative assembly’ were enjoying bits of tobacco, chit-chatting on phone, taking pun of fellow members, laughing loud, abusing their colleagues, interrupting proceedings, leg pulling fellow members while their colleague was speaking on various concerning issues. His subjects had direct relation to the common man’s lives. But, unfortunately our elected representatives were in no face considered about the things going on in the house.

In a democratic design parliament is considered to be the temple of democracy and its members are the real form of saints. But these saints are ‘insane’ in today’s scenario, playing dirty politics wherever they go! These pick pocket politicians should first learn to be punctual. They shouldn’t be allowed to enter late. This will in every case reduce the casual behavior they have towards house meetings and debates.

I don’t know why our leaders adopt the ‘speech style of speaking’ even though they are reporting about recent development in their concerned areas. Their style of speaking makes me feel that they will start a revolt the moment they are speaking. I believe they should be asked to pin point on the important points rather than giving a speech. In the style of corporate sector a detail but to the point talks needs to be done in the house.

About their preparations, they should be asked to do proper homework and then speak rather than giving extempore. They keep on speaking in house whatever they want which is none of the business of the common man. Their words are most of the times out of context, which wastes extremely precious time of the house. Every year, millions are wasted in organizing their debates and discussion sessions in house. And they are still not concerned for bearing a fruitful result from these discussions.

So with the medium of “PASSION-MY CUP OF TEA” I request our ‘honorable members of legislative assembly’ to enforce in their lives the corporate style of living and existence and stop taking the country “casually”
